Hi, I’m Ariel.
I’m Ariel Novak, a wedding photographer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting some of life’s most emotional and unforgettable moments. From the very start, I knew wedding photography was my path—not because it was simple or predictable, but because it demanded awareness, adaptability, and a deep understanding of human connection. Every wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and capturing it with honesty and depth is a challenge I embrace fully.
My focus is on the real, unscripted moments—the fleeting glances, the raw emotions, the energy of the day—preserving them with the depth and beauty they deserve.
While storytelling is always at the heart of my work, the aesthetic adapts to each couple’s vision. Some weddings call for a cinematic atmosphere, where light, movement, and emotion create a timeless feel. Others suit a more editorial approach, with intentional compositions and a refined aesthetic.
I’m honored that my work has been recognized internationally, published in prestigious wedding blogs and magazines, and awarded multiple times. But beyond accolades, what truly matters is the trust my couples place in me—to see them, to understand them, and to tell their story in a way that feels real to them.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m with my wife, our daughter, and my endlessly energetic Jack Russell, usually enjoying a great meal, traveling, or simply savoring everyday moments.
If you’re looking for wedding photography that truly reflects who you are, let’s talk.

A little more about me
I was born in 1982 and grew up in a small countryside town with just 500 people—surrounded by endless green and tranquility.
In 2006, I set off to explore South America with my backpack and my three best friends. We traveled from Ushuaia in the south to Cartagena in the north. By the end of that journey, I met Mechi, and we’ve been together ever since—living in Buenos Aires, with a three-year adventure abroad in between.
I’m sensitive. To myself and to the people around me.
In 2011, I graduated as a “multimedia designer” (whatever that means), but my design career peaked and ended when I made my first business cards. That’s when I decided to dedicate myself entirely to what I truly love—photography.
I’m a huge dog lover. My Jack Russell, Nola, brings me an incredible amount of joy (almost) every day.
I speak four languages.
I’ve been a Juventus fan since I was 12. The only games I miss are the ones that happen while I’m working.
I’m a foodie. I love great food and enjoy cooking (Mechi says I’m great at it, though she may not have a choice). But if I had to eat just one thing for the rest of my life, it would be ice cream.
My sense of humor is deeply ironic, and I love absurd comedy.
I love winter.
I’m happiest traveling, out in nature (especially the mountains), or taking long walks with Mechi, our daughter, and our dog.
Since 2010, I’ve had the privilege of photographing couples in some of the most incredible places. Over the years, I’ve captured more than 300 weddings across different countries—experiencing beautiful moments, challenges, growth, recognition, and a few disappointments along the way. But what stays with me most is the experience itself. That’s what truly matters.
