When should we book our wedding date?
As early as possible. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, and the most requested dates are often reserved many months in advance.
We feel awkward in front of the camera. We don't want to pose. How does it work?
You don’t need to know how to pose.
My approach is designed to help you feel comfortable and present, without forced directions or staged situations. During portraits, I’ll offer guidance when it’s helpful, but always in a way that feels natural and adapted to you.
How many hours of coverage do we need?
Most weddings require between 12 and 14 hours of coverage, from the preparations through the celebration. Every wedding is different, so coverage is tailored to the rhythm and structure of your day.
How many photographers do we need?
In most cases, having more than one photographer allows for more complete and seamless coverage. The number of photographers depends on the size, schedule, and logistics of your wedding.
How will we receive our photos?
Your photographs are delivered through a private online gallery, where you can view, share, and download the full-resolution images. The gallery remains available for an extended period so you have plenty of time to create your own backups.
Do you offer video?
No.
Photography and filmmaking are different disciplines, and I believe each deserves complete dedication. If you’re looking for video coverage, I’m happy to recommend filmmakers whose work and approach align with mine.
How long does it take to receive our gallery?
The complete gallery is delivered within the timeframe agreed upon for your coverage, which may be up to 60 days depending on the scope of the wedding.
You’ll also receive an extensive sneak peek within 48 hours, so you can relive and share some of your favorite moments almost immediately.
If you need your full gallery sooner, a Priority Delivery option is also available.
How many photos will we receive?
I don’t work toward a fixed number of images.
You’ll receive every photograph I believe meaningfully contributes to the story of your wedding. As a general reference, most galleries include approximately 80 to 100 photographs per hour of coverage.
Do you offer advanced retouching?
Yes.
Along with the standard editing included in every collection, professional retouching is available for selected images upon request.
How do you protect our photographs?
Protecting your memories is part of the job.
During the wedding, every image is recorded simultaneously to two memory cards.
After the event, multiple backups are created before editing begins, ensuring your photographs remain protected throughout the entire workflow.
Your online gallery also stays available for an extended period, giving you plenty of time to download and archive your images.
What happens if you're unable to attend our wedding?
In the extremely unlikely event that circumstances beyond my control prevent me from attending, I would first help you find a trusted replacement whose work and professionalism meet the same standards.
If that weren’t possible, every payment made would be fully refunded.
Fortunately, this has never happened.
How do travel expenses work for destination weddings?
Every destination wedding is different.
Travel and accommodation are discussed individually, with clear agreements made in advance so there are no unexpected costs or surprises later.
What makes two photographers with similar styles different?
The photographs are an important part of the experience—but they’re not the only thing you’re choosing.
Two photographers may create images you love and even charge similar prices. What isn’t always visible is everything happening behind the scenes.
How the team is selected and managed.
How your photographs are backed up during and after the wedding.
What happens if a camera, memory card, or another critical piece of equipment fails.
How the photographer collaborates with planners, videographers, and other vendors so everyone can do their job without getting in each other’s way.
How unexpected situations, timeline changes, and last-minute decisions are handled.
Who answers your emails.
Who edits your photographs.
Who is actually behind the service you’re hiring.
Most of these things go unnoticed when everything goes well.
And that’s exactly how it should be.
But they’re part of the experience you’re investing in, and they’re often what separates professionals whose work may appear very similar at first glance.
The photographs are the visible result.
Everything else is what makes that result possible, consistently.
